look how cute my little doggie is at christmas time!
finally it's christmas eve eve! I have to say I've been waiting for this day for quite a while, and we celebrate every year with the e.g. bunch.
one very special year (I'd have to guess somewhere around 1998), we wrote a song about the eg bunch. sadly, I don't remember all the lyrics, but I do remember the chorus:
then a-one day when this family met this family
and they knew that it was much more than a hunch
that this group would somehow become neighbors
and that's the way we all became the eg bunch!

have to say, I absolutely love christmas for traditions like this one. also for: the terrible reindeer on the pantry handle that makes it impossible to open the pantry, the fact that despite my best efforts I always look terrible in pictures christmas morning, morgan always finding the baby jesus in the creche and the lucky ornament, and of course, lots and lots and lots and lots of baking.
