mmm amazing delicious dinner last night

last night a bunch of girls (and Stu...) were back in town, so I decided to invite everyone over and I made a roasted chicken (go me!). so easy to make, and it was really delicious. I had seen some recipes where you had to do all this stuff and turn it over and rub it and baste it, but it was my first time making one so I just decided to do it how my mom does and follow the directions straight off the bag and just clean and salt it. best decision ever.

we started with a baked brie that Sharon and I made.

then we had, of course, the roasted chicken. the sides were mashed potatoes (a la Sharon) and a really good string bean salad that Kowal made, but, sadly, I didn't take any pictures of those.

last was pumpkin pie, the same recipe that I posted before.

really the best part was just having everyone at our house, hanging out and having fun. I'm so glad we live in this house and we can have so many people over!
